Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Resort Activities Assistant
Manager- responsibilities include but are not limited to


health- fitness & wellness leadership to guests- members and colleaguesLead saf

and effective group yog

classes- workshops and outdoor programs as requiredEnsure
the facility is in peak condition at all times: operations- cleaning and
sanitization of all equipment- supplies well stocked- facility tidy

guests and members with any questions or concerns they have whilst using the

guests to the Health Club and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experienceEnsure the Health Club
area is clean and well maintained with adequate supplies in pool area and
change roomsInstruct
guests in use of equipment and ensure safety regulations are adhered to in
fitness/pool areasAssist in continuous marketing and promotion
of all Resort Activities` activitiesSupport and assist the Conference Services team with special
events as requiredSupport Resort Activities team with
boathouse- rental shop and resort activities desk duties as requiredFollow departmental policies and
proceduresTo adhere to all environmental policies and programs
as requiredCarry out any other
duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:• Group
Yoga certification• Current CPR and First AidPreferred Knowledge and Experience:• Degree in kinesiology or other related exercise/fitness degree/diploma• Previous Group
Yoga experience• Experience teaching Group
Yoga classes • Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual- effective communicator who enjoys working with people- pays attention to detail- and has proven record in program design and/or program facilitationQualifications:• Must possess outstanding guest service skills- including professional verbal communication skills• Highly responsible and reliable- demonstrating initiative as required• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced- team-based environmentPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):• Exercise demonstration/participation as required for Group
Yoga classes • Walking (including up and down stairs)• Standing• Cleaning duties (including lifting weights and equipment)• Sitting at a desk using the computer• Occasional kneeling- pushing- pulling- lifting• Occasional ascending or descending ladders- stairs and ramps
