Summary of Responsibilities:

Reception Supervisor

responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offers professional- engaging and friendly service

Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and channel to appropriate for assistance
Greet members and guests in a friendly and efficient manner
Escort guests as required
Be knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments and the facility
Provide information and literature of facility in person and via telephone
Control entry into all areas of facility by restricting all unauthorized individuals
Collect moneys or other suitable payment from clients for all services rendered
Book / Schedule Treatments
Give tours of spa- as required
Ensure smooth operation of reception
Respond to inquiries by phone and in person- providing complete details of all spa aspects
Handle special assignments
Co-ordinate sales packets- when needed
Maintain office files/records
Able to assist guests with retail purchases
Have complete understanding of and adhere to all company policies an rules including those relating to Fire- Hygiene and Safety
Maintain inventory and stocking of all reception materials
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Previous experience is an asset
Minimum of 2 years experience in spa industry or hospitality
Diploma or Degree in hospitality or related field an asset
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office- Word- Excel
Excellent communication skills- both written and spoke

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Occasional kneeling- pushing- pulling- lifting

Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads
