Job Summary
AECOM is currently seeking a Quality Control & Assurance Manager for the
upcoming 4th Canadian Division Training Centre Meaford Site Support Services
proposal. The anticipated project will provide operation and maintenance
support for facilities including HVAC systems- water systems- power systems-
transportation/transportation infrastructure- IT- food services- fire
services- waste management- supply- and accommodations. The Quality Control &
Assurance Manager plans and directs activities concerned with the development-
application- and maintenance of quality standards for processing materials
into partially finished or finished material or product. Quality assurance an

includes all those planned and systematic actions necessary to provid

adequate confidence that an item or a facility will perform satisfactorily i

service including the following responsibilities:

Manages a group of quality employees in a group office or working on a portion of a project.

Plans- conducts and directs research and/or development work on complex quality projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches.

Possesses and applies an advanced knowledge to the completion of projects.

Ensures the product is designed- procured- and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements and within established budgets.

Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.

Provides technical inspiration- leadership- and consultation to professional co-workers.

Provides leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned program(s) and/or areas to ensure that the product is designed- procured- and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.

Provides leadership for new systems- development- proposals- implementation- procedures- and any related quality activity.

Analyzes- evaluates- and plans methods of approach and organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.

Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity. Reviews project process and evaluate results.

May specialize in particular area of quality control engineering- such as design- incoming material- process control- product evaluation- inventory control- product reliability- research and development- and administrative application.

Participates in the development- maintenance- and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.

Recommends corrective action to quality problems.

Minimum Requirements

Certified Lead Auditor course to ISO 9001:2000 or ISO 14001:2004-

A minimum of five years` experience in managing quality systems.

Ability to gain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor`s degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

12+ years of experience in area of specialization.

Lead Auditor/Auditor Certificate.

Active security clearance.
