AECOM Procurement Specialist in Whitby- Ontario

Job Summary
Works under general supervision.
Works with the Company purchasing systems and processes.
Understands purchasing terminology- measures- concepts and principles for compiling bid proposals.
Utilizes schedules to meet procurement and materials management milestones.
Possesses the skills for comparing bids.
Prepares evaluation of suppliers` capabilities and Requests for Quotations for non-complex- engineered equipment.
Contacts suppliers for timely submittal of bids.
Tabulates bids and assists in performing bid analysis.
Assists in contacting bidders for clarifications.
Maintains documentation.
Assists in the preparation of client approval packages prior to award.
Drafts purchase orders.
Assists in the preparation of procurement and materials management reports.
Minimum Requirements
TBA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
