Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes customer needs to determine the appropriate e-business solution
Develops plans and schedules based on prioritization including requirements, tasks, review points and reporting
Delivers and maintains a superior online customer experience
Measures and manages activities against key KPI’s. Delivers programs to meet core financial goals
Applies deep understanding of emerging online demand generation programs site search strategies to increase revenues and enhance the customer experience
Represents consumer, marketing, and merchandising point of view to identify new business/content opportunities and effectiveness of programs
Applies deep understanding of emerging online demand generation programs focused on affiliate marketing, shopper channels and email marketing
Works with the development team for implementation and testing of all new functions/features
Forms online content partnerships, measures web usage/trends and manages vendor relationships
Requirements:
Excellent analytical capabilities
Robust merchandising/copywriting abilities
Demonstrated ability in solving problems quickly
Project management (PMP Certification)
Strong Technical knowledge
Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
