Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager Position Title- responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offers professional- engaging and friendly service
Complete work that has been delegated by and under the supervision of the Lead Hand Carpenter
Assist journey person carpenters on small projects and renovations throughout the hotel and property
Follow up on simple maintenance requests as assigned by the Maintenance departmen

Work under the supervision of a journey person carpenter in the Lead Hand Carpenter`s absenc

Be committed to Health and safety programs where working safely is a condition of employmen

Qualifications:

Red Seal Journeyman in Carpentry required
Some trade background in carpentry an asset
Must work well without supervision
Valid Alberta Driver|s Licence free of significant demerit points
Previous experience in hotel operations including guest service experience
Must provide own hand tools- as outlined in the Collective Agreement

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Visa Requirements: Applicant must hold the proper work authorization to be legally eligible to work in Canada.
