Job Summary
AECOM`s Environment Business Line is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical
Engineer to join our team of professionals in our Markham office. The
successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary- collaborative
multinational team focused on delivery of superior services to our clients.
This is a challenging position for a self-motivated individual that offers an
excellent opportunity for career growth.
Responsibilities include- but are not limited to:
Provide technical expertise in support of on-going AECOM geotechnical projects
Work with other geotechnical staff to provide services for current and prospective clients- and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities

Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts- suppliers- contractors- engineering consultants and external agencies

Conduct technical review and undertake comprehensive analysis and design for geotechnical components related to municipal- MTO- Metrolinx and CN projects- utilities- building structures- energy projects- roads and other civil infrastructure projects

Work with the team on projects in the GTA- and collaborate on projects across Ontario.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree in Geotechnical engineering or equivalent

At a very minimum- 6+ years of geotechnical engineering experience

Currently registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to manage time effectively

Willingness to work flexible hours under a variety of conditions

Preferred Qualifications

Post graduate degree in Engineering or Environmental Science

Class G driver`s license with access to a personal vehicle- mileage to be reimbursed
