AECOM Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer in Mississauga- Ontario

Job Summary
AECOM`s Environment Business Line is currently seeking an Intermediate
Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of professionals in our Mississauga-
Ontario office. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary-
collaborative multinational team focused on delivery of superior services to
our clients. This is a challenging position for a self-motivated individual
that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth.
Responsibilities include- but are not limited to:
Provide technical expertise in support of on-going AECOM geotechnical projects
Work with other geotechnical staff to provide services for current and prospective clients- and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities
Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts- suppliers- contractors- engineering consultants and external agencies
Carry out analysis and design for geotechnical components related to railway and highway projects- utilities- building structures- energy projects and other civil infrastructure projects
Work with the team on projects in the GTA- and collaborate on projects across Ontario
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree with minimum 4 years experience in Ontario Geotechnical projects
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
Local project experience with GTA soil and rock conditions
Proven experience in slope stability assessments- shallow and deep foundation assessments and recommendations- earth retaining structure assessments and knowledge of pavement designs for flexible and composite pavements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the following: slope stability assessments- shallow and deep
foundation assessments and recommendations- earth retaining structure
assessments and knowledge of pavement designs for flexible and composite
pavements.
