Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Civil Designer/EIT
for employment in the Mississauga- ON office.

Working under a Project Manager or Senior Staff- responsibilities of this
position include- but are not limited to:

Attend internal project briefing- to gain overview of project and jobholder`s responsibility within the project

Prepare client project report which could include photographs- graphics- maps etc

Submit drawings to clients

Assist other offices with the preparation of CAD drawings

Organize- coordinate- and minute internal and client meetings

Prepare progress reports and assist in project management

Draft technical memos

Assist Project Manager in coordinating and tracking staff activities.

Participate in Public Consultation programs

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Masters in Civil Engineering or related field

Intern/Co-op experience in design in Transportation industry a plus

Experience with design software including AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel- Word- Project) is required

Must be a team player

Be responsible for the preparation and production of reports- plans- specifications and estimates.

Be involved in all project aspects including design/study development and site/field visits during design and construction.

Capable of working independently or within a design team

Excellent communication skills with project team- government agencies and clients
