Grade 12 or equivalent
Post Secondary in Hospitality/Tourism Management an asset
3+ years working in a similar environment
Strong organizational skills
Competent in Opera, Delphi and Open Table Software
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite

Reports to: Manager of Guest Services
To be responsible for all aspects of the Reservation Department.
This includes the training and development of the Reservation
agents as well as being responsible for yield management and all
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement pricing strategies for transient business segments as well as group pricing; conduct competitor pricing analysis to
ensure correct placement within our market.
Maintain and evaluate statistical information for tracking and decision-making purposes.
Achieve budget targets for individual business as well as participate with sales in achieving group targets.
Monitor room inventory, rates and restrictions in order to maximize potential room revenues.
Prepare standard forecasts.
Chair weekly revenue management meetings to identify business cycles and strategies to deal with the same. Distribute
updated information and results of meeting to Department Heads.
Work closely with DOS on all group and tour bookings within the Hotel’s short term demand window.
Manage all e-distribution channels. Work with 3rd party vendors to maintain all relationships on external distribution channels.
Develop and assess new distribution channels for online and direct call room sales.
Monitor and direct reservations supervisor and reviews reservation system and personnel performance.
Provide direction to Reservation Supervisor and agents and evaluating work.
Develop and communicate policies, priorities, procedures and administrative standards.
Full Empowerment to offer special rates, restrict rates and restrict room inventory.
Full Empowerment to discipline and documentation within reservations department.
