AECOM Supply Chain Administrator – Contract in Calgary- Alberta
Canada – Alberta- Calgary
AECOM is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to be based in our Calgary-
Alberta location. This is a 6 month contract position.
This position will be reporting to the Subcontracts Specialist to deliver
value added opportunities to the business through supplier selection- market
place analysis- optimizing and/or consolidating AECOM – O&G Division spends.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for continuously improve the
performance- efficiency- safety and cost effectiveness of all supply chain
May include the following responsibilities:
To ensure all documents relating to supply chain process are retained in accordance with the company|s quality requirements
Issues Requests for Proposals- evaluates subcontractor proposals and plans- prepares cost and price analyses- risk analyses- and bid analysis summaries.
Analyze quotations and contracts and provide with analytical reports- including KPI reports for Supply Chain Management staff.
Prepares- compiles- and maintains auditable records of the subcontracting process.
Maintains awareness of market conditions to determine future availability of services and pricing probability.
Ensure timely completion- compliance with requirements- and appropriateness of invoices and payment are submitted by subcontractors.
Manage supplier invoices and documents.
Provide administrative support for Direct Services Provider (DSP) database.
Additional tasks necessary to support the function of the department.
Diploma or Certificate in supply chain- business- engineering- construction management- economics and/or demonstrated equivalent combination of education- training and related experience.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Good interpersonal skills- especially ability to be able to communicate externally with suppliers & internally with colleagues
Good time management- attention to detail- problem solving- and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
Works well under fast-paced work environment and able to handle change in priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Word- Excel and Outlook
Experience in one or more of the areas of purchasing- expediting- transportation and warehousing preferred.
Document controls experience is an asset.
Ability to use procurement and materials management systems is an asset.
