    AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager (Fuel Channel) – Nuclear to be based
    at our Kincardine- ON location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to
    relocate to the area. A Travel and Living out Allowance may be provided. In
    addition- relocation assistance may be provided.

    ABOUT US:

    The Shoreline Power Group is a Joint Venture of Aecon- AECOM and SNC-Lavalin.
    Shoreline Power Group will be completing the Fuel Channel and Feeder
    Replacement (FCFR) project. The joint venture has been awarded a contract by
    Bruce Power to execute the Unit 6 FCFR at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station
    in Kincardine- Ontario.

    This project is part of Bruce Power`s Life Extension Program- which will allow
    Bruce Power`s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064- the
    project is the centrepiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program to
    replace the main components of the reactor. Unit 6 is the first of six
    reactors being replaced by Bruce Power through the MCR program.

    The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes-
    pressure tubes- and feeders for Unit 6- as well as construction management and
    trade labour. Work is scheduled to commence in June 2020- with expected
    completion in the third quarter of 2022.

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    The Construction Manager will direct and be accountable for all pre-execution
    planning activities to ensure all necessary construction packages have been
    readied and available for use. The Construction Manager will be responsible
    for all site execution matters- including direct-hire and subcontracted labour
    supervision- safe and timely performance of the work- and ensuring quality
    standards are upheld.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Prepare and staff a construction team made of experienced and capable supervisory personnel

    Liaise with engineering staff to ensure integration of all tooling designs

    Develop hiring plan

    Work with the Labour Relations Manager to ensure labour relations issues are pro-actively managed

    Responsible for all site execution matters- including the timely performance of the work

    Accountable for all site safety and human performance metrics- and for collaborating with the project EHS Manager & HU Manager

    Maintain a positive relationship with client construction counterpart

    Accountable for ensuring all project execution resources have received the required training

    Identifies succession plans for key individuals and implements necessary steps to train these individuals

    Ensure work is performed within quality system requirements

    Involvement in developing and ensuring compliance to staff training roster.

    Ensure verification of Supervisor qualifications

    Perform observation and coaching duties in both Bruce Power and Contractor databases

    Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for supervision of all execution/construction- work coordinators and clerical staff.

    Close collaboration with Engineering- Procurement- and Project Management staff

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead a team of program & project managers and senior engineers to deliver capabilities in the Telecom and Contact Center Space.
    Responsible for the portfolio- requirements- and delivery using various project methodologies for Contact center capabilities.
    Build relationships & partner with business to delivery capabilities in the Telecom and Contact Center area
    Establish documentation process and governance procedures for all Contact Center projects.
    Directs the efforts of the team in the achievement of strategic goals and operational objectives.
    Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives.
    Builds long-term development and succession plans.
    Leads rigorous process and service improvement programs.
    Reviews IT and business requirements- and makes decisions to satisfy business needs. ???

    Essential Requirements

    12 years of experience within Information Technology- Supply / Chain- E-commerce- Product Engineering- Services- and/or Operations for a Fortune 500 company or larger
    Senior level network engineering and managerial leadership positions in a variety of companies and/or industries
    Comfortable with ambiguity
    Ability to develop strategy- translate it for people across functions- and drive organizational change
    Strong business acumen- technical skillset- deep industry knowledge- organizational connections- and an ability to communicate effectively to influence others
    Coaching and mentoring both team members and business partners

    Desirable Requirements

    10+ years relevant experience with Bachelor|s Degree- or equivalent
    Superior analytical and problem solving skills- be adept at gathering and analyzing data- presenting it to senior leaders- while making recommendations to improve the business
