Job Summary

Transport guests to/from assigned destinations using property vehicle.
Document all trips prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each trip.
Park vehicle in designated location when not in use. Inspect property vehicles
for damage and cleanliness. Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property
vehicle| and refuel as necessary. Notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle
maintenance needs. Document all vehicle incidents (i.e.| damages| accidents)
and provide reports of incidents to manager/supervisor. Report accidents|
injuries| and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and
certifications.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any
maintenance problems| safety hazards| accidents| or injuries; complete safety
training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean
and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect
company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and
respect. Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance
expectations and standards. Move| lift| carry| push| pull| and place objects
weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Assist with
moving| lifting| carrying| and placing of objects weighing in excess of 75
pounds. Stand| sit| or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire
work shift. Move at a speed that is required to respond to work situations (e.
g.| run| walk| jog). Read and visually verify information in a variety of
formats (e. g.| small print). Visually inspect tools| equipment| or machines
(e. g.| to identify defects). Grasp| turn| and manipulate objects of varying
size and weight| requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach
overhead and below the knees| including bending| twisting| pulling| and

Proper maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle bus
Assist the Doors Attendants at the Front Door when not occupied
Qualifications:

Previous experience is an asset
A valid Class 4 driver`s licence is mandatory for this position
A clean driving record is required
The ability to drive standard transmission vehicles is mandatory

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of Whistler area or Chateau Whistler Resort would be an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Frequent kneeling- pushing- pulling- lifting
Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Stewarding Supervisor and Chief Steward- responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Drive- Load and unload food- banquet equipment- glassware- china and chemicals between all loading docks of the hotel in a secure and timely manner
Assist all departments with special deliveries on site or outside of the hote

Ensure daily inspection of the vehicle is filled out and report any damage

Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery truck and loading dock

Participate in the removal of garbage & recycling according to the rules set in place by the hotel and Parks Canad

Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks- and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
Other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Previous experience is an asset
Valid Alberta Drivers licence- class 5
Updated drivers abstract to be provided before your first shift
Able to work in a fast moving environment
Excellent time management and conflict resolution skills
Self motivated- excellent communicator and empathetic
Ability to follow directions and carry them out
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
