enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cuttin

engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and externa



Globally directs the activities of a software development function for
software application enhancements and new products. Manages a group
responsible for the design and/or development of software for platforms-
peripherals- applications- diagnostics- or tools using a range of applicable
technologies (e.g.- programming languages- compilers- assemblers and other
tools) and state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies. Oversees the
analysis- design- programming- debugging and modification of computer programs
with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Full lifecycle application development using standard frameworks and coding standards/patterns
Coding- unit testing and debugging applications in various software languages
Software testing and quality assurance
Performance tuning- improvement- balancing- usability- automation
Document source code and ensure that technical documentation i.e. configuration guides- install guides meet requirements
Lead efforts to define future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards- guidelines- and industry best practices.
Advise the Business and IT Organizations on the appropriate use of web application development technologies to support strategic business goals.
Work with solutions architect(s) to provide enterprise solution that is scalable- adaptable and in synchronization with ever-changing business needs.
Work with business stake holders and understand business requirements to perform technical feasibility analysis and provide technical solutions.
Where necessary- develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on findings.
Recommend and promote new technologies and best practices to enable us to better support our customers.
Recommend tools and utilities for design- development- testing and management of web-based applications.
Be very knowledgeable about various design patterns in enterprise architecture.
Analyze existing business processes and technical environments to design automation improvements where necessary or applicable to maintain greater efficiencies.
Ability to translate business objectives into initiatives and requirements.
Efficiently and effectively communicate IT solutions to both Business and IT organizations.
Work closely with offshore / onsite teams.
Mentor and train team members into best practices of using Interactive technologies.

Essential Requirements

At least 15+ years of experience developing software
.NET/C# / + Angular (5-6-or 7) and/or Angular JS experience
HTML and SCSS/CSS experience
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server/MySQL)
Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from multiple teams
Proven understanding of security- efficient code reuse- and software design
Demonstrated experience working with object-oriented programming (OOP)
Practical experience with Agile methodologies
Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
Ability to write and analyze requirements- functional specifications- design specifications- tech plans and documentation.

Education and Experience:

Typically 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of
education and work experience
